REDWING 10 1/2

<img src="http://www.chuckpaine.com/photos/thumbnails/thumb_20071025140916_color sailplanblog.jpg" align="right"> WHAT AT OPPORTUNITY for a Herreshoff 12 1/2 lover; a customer who wanted a true mini sailing yacht but who couldn't fit a 12 1/2 or a Haven on the boat deck of his motoryacht. The solution... Chuck's take on a scaled down 12 1/2 with a removable keel. The crew will affix the keel with but two large nuts, hoist it into the water from the boat deck, plunk in the carbon fiber rig (there are no stays), and the owner will be away in a little yacht very nearly as safe and stable as the famously capable H 12.
