ERICA racing on Eggemoggin Reach
It is with sadness that I report the passing of Doug Thompson. He built ERICA in 2005. Doug was never happier than when he was aboard his beloved ERICA. He was one of the kindest clients we ever dealt with, and I will remember him with great fondness.

Beautiful! She’s so wonderful! Almost passes for a fiberglass boat, and I so love fiberglass boats! (No kidding!)

Thank you Chuck for your kind words. Like all wooden boats, Doug had a deep soul and he was the most soulful and happy while building wooden boats. Thank you and French and Webb for helping him be his happiest.

Chuck, thanks for your nice comments on my brother, Doug Thompson. He was a kind man and is greatly missed. I would love to have a copy of the photo of Erica if that is possible to frame. My address is 6745 Manchester Beach Road, Fairview, PA 16415.
